Please be warned this is only a suggestion and not in practice at this point in time.

The aim of this article is to improve the economies of Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland and South-Africa. This will include constructing new highway systems, dams, rail systems, change in education, a new land reform strategy, and 7 growth points. These growth points will aim to attract companies from Europe, North America, China and India, by offer tax cuts, foreign ownership consciences and by offering a state of the art transport system covering 5 countries, and 5 harbors.

Growth points

What is the aim of the growth areas?

The main aim of the growth areas is providing as many jobs as possible. The more jobs these areas create the more money will be generated and spend with in the Southern African economies.

How was the growth areas selected?

All the growth areas are areas with large black populations, and did not enjoy the growth of the old South Africa. These areas are mayor cities in there own right and will as growth areas are able to grow to mayor economic centers with in Southern Africa, join all the other mayor cities with in South Africa.

How will the growth areas attract more business and Jobs?

The aim is create an Industrial area which will attract Industry from China, Canada, the USA, Great Brittan, the Netherlands, India and Germany. In order to this we need world class rail systems, highway systems, water towers, water recycling plants and workers.

To convince industries from China, Canada, the USA, Great Brittan, the Netherlands, India and Germany to invest in these growth areas we have to offer incentives. The first incentive is a tax free area. All the industries they build in these growth points do not pay any tax but they can not claim any tax back from items they buy form areas located out side of this tax free zone.

It is imported that these areas are managed closely and that all employees are paid the correct amount of money, because large amounts of money will also flow aboard from these areas. We will have to insure that the Southern African employees are paid enough to spend money with in the Southern African economy.

How these growth points would build the South African economy?

  1. All the new industries will provide jobs to Southern Africans which where not there before.
  2. These growth points are Tax free areas, meaning that the employees will have more money to buy goods from Southern African shops, creating more jobs.
  3. All the industries will have to buy goods from Southern African industries or import goods, using Southern African rail, Southern African airports and Southern African sea ports. All these sectors will make more money and create more jobs for Southern Africans
  4. The Southern African employees will gain more experience and knowledge working in these over sea owned industries, which they can then share with other South Africans or even use to create there own companies.
  5. When more jobs are created the crime levels will start to drop, saving the government and insurance companies millions.
  6. These areas will lead to even closer economic and people ties between Southern Africa and China, Canada, the USA, Great Brittan, the Netherlands, India and Germany

How will the government make money from these growth areas?

  1. Since these are tax free areas the government makes no direct money from these areas directly but indirectly. The employees, has to buy food, clothing and pay for accommodation and luxury items. All of these items curry VAT.
  2. These industries are all located in land. All services transporting stock to these areas curry VAT.
  3. Many highways has toll gate thou with transport vehicles to these areas may pass thou.
  4. The energy and water supplied to these areas curries VAT.
  5. The buying power of the employees in these areas will lead to more Job creation, and from these new Jobs the Southern African government will be able to generate more money.
  6. The employees will over time have families, which will support the school, collage and university system.

Highway and Rail System

What is the aim of the new rail and highway system?

The aim of this new infrastructure is to connect growth areas and previous disadvantage areas to the rest of Southern Africa and its harbors. This will make the movement of products much easier, cheaper and safer in the long run. This will also lead to more wide spread economic growth over an extended period.

What is the path of the new rail system and highway system?

Change in Education (South-Africa)

How can we change the education system?

There are a few basic changes we need to improve the South African Education system.

  1. A change in the main education language will make it easier for the students to understand and to learn. We suggest that the following languages should be used in the following areas as languages in which all subjects can be teach it.  A) KwaZulu-Natal: Afrikaans English Zulu B) Eastern Cape: Afrikaans English Xhosa C) Free Sate: Afrikaans English Sotho Tswana. D) North-West : Afrikaans English Tswana E) Northern Province: Afrikaans English Tsivenda Xitsonga Sepide F) Mpumalanga: Afrikaans English Zulu SiSwati Ndebele G) Gaulteng: Afrikaans English H) Northern Cape: Afrikaans English I) Western Cape: Afrikaans English. Ever state is responsible for translating educational material, exams and marking of exams. Ever state is also responsible for training educators in all there languages. It will also be up to the states in which local governments there new educators will be placed and in which local governments the student numbers for these home languages are high enough to make it worth it having educators in home languages. The states must also have the power to force selected local government schools to teach local home languages when a student number of more then 20 is available with in one grade, whom speak this local South African language.
  2. A condition should be added for students to obtain a Grade 7 pass mark. A student must choose at least 10 out of 20 Phrases of a 3de language correctly in a multiple chose questionnaire.
  3. A condition should be added for students to obtain a Grade 9 pass mark. A student must choose at least 50 out of  100 Phrases of a 3de language correctly in a multiple chose questionnaire
  4. In grade 9 you can have two different types of passes; a high school pass and a Collage pass. When a student obtain a 33% to 60% average mark and has obtained all other conditions to pass grade 9 they receive a collage pass and may attend a collage and study N1. Collages have the advantage of training students in specific areas like business, mechanics, electricity, farming and so on. Collages can supply the South African economy with a skilled work force. If a student in grade 9 should obtain an average of 60% and above they will receive a high school pass. These are students whom have a natural intellect, or determination to pass Matrix and curry on to university if there finances admit them to do so.

How will this change the face of the South Africa economy?

Collages can supply South Africa businesses with employees whom have trained to work in that specific environment. Example: A college student whom has study mechanics up to N6 will be able to work in a Mechanics shop with very little extra training. An availability of an already trained work force will be a great plus point for any investor and will improve the quality of South African made products and services.

By selecting the best students in grade 9 to complete high school, the quality of students and the quantity of students in matrix will count to the students favor. Fewer students to teach make it easier to teach them and will lead to better results and a more prepared future think tank for South Africa.

New land reform strategy

How can we reform and improve South African Land use?

The current South African land reform policy has fail and turned in some cases large productive farming areas in to unproductive farm land. With an ever increasing population and climate change, even the lost of one productive farming area can be seen as a national disaster and a national security issue.

There are still large areas of land in South Africa which are not used to its full potential. Most of these areas are occupied but self sustaining farmer whom only produce enough food for themselves, always running the risk, of starvation. The South African Government should help these farmers to play a bigger and more productive role in South Africa. This can be achieved by doing the following:

1)      Unit all the small farms into one big farm, each small farm owner now own a share of this larger community farm.

2)      Provide free farming training and accounting training.

3)      Provide all equipment needed for the first year of production.

4)      Provide the live stock and/or seeds needed for the first year of production.

                  5)   Teach fish farming and chicken farming on smaller farm communities.

Ones the farmers are trained and have all the equipment needed to get started the possibility that these self sustaining farms to become commercial farms increase dramatically.  The more commercial farms South Africa has the more food South Africa can produce.

Dams Water and electricity

South Africa is planning a new nuclear power station, but one nuclear power station just is not enough if South Africa would like to remain the largest electricity producer in Africa. The Karoo in the Northern Cape has not been used for solar power generation as yet. There are still many areas on the Orange River and Tugela River that can be dammed and use to supply drinking water, food production and hydro electric generation. An example of such an available area is the area between the Mpotana River and the Mati River in KwaZulu-Natal

More technology should also be used to recycle used water at all the growth points and new water towers should be built at these growth points. By recycling water the water usage from rivers and dams will decrease and the availability of water will increase.
